- study philosophy and psychology, Master course at Leipzig 1988 – 1993
- completed his PhD in the field of Medical Philosophy 1993 – 1996
- at the same time trained as a practitioner of traditional alternative medicine 1993 – 1996
- studying visits to the practitioners of alternative medicine Josef Karl in Munich, and Willy Hauser in Heimsheim, and to Dr. med. Hellmut Lützner in Überlingen, and Prof. John Boel in Denmark
- since March, 1997 own practice for holistic alternative traditional medicine
- publications in several professional journals, inter alia in’ZÄN Ärztezeitschrift für Naturheilverfahren’ (‘ZÄN Medical Journal for Natural Curative Therapies’)
- since 2009: lecturer throughout Germany on further training courses in alternative medicine, in the framework of congresses and seminars

- trained as Fasting Supervisor by Dr. med. Hellmut Lützner in Freudenstadt and Überlingen
- trains as therapist for eye acupuncture and pain acupuncture with Prof. John Boel
- once a year visits and shares his knowledge with Prof. John Boel in Denmark
